District Testing Not Appearing in Pearson Access Next 


Early Spring DT: Org Files are still be entered. Your steps:

  1. Look for the school/district in
    1. If not in TestAdmin, then confirm that the school/district has a FY19-DT-Early Spring contract in “Closed Won” status in Salesforce.
      1. If the contract is not Closed Won, advise the customer that ACT does not have a signed contract and refer them to the contract contact person who is listed in Salesforce.
      2. If the contract is Closed Won, look for them in again.
  2. If you still can’t find them in TestAdmin, look for them in MILO
    1. If they are in MILO, then tell the caller that the school/district will be in TestAdmin within 24 hours
    2. If they ARE NOT in MILO, then @mention the following:
      1. Nicole Burt, Jeremiah Barnhart, Adrienne Vevera, and Amy Jenson
      2. Please include the full name of the district and the person who called in your @mention. Be detailed.


Late Spring DT: Org files have not been started. Make sure they have the Late Spring DT Schedule of Events. They cannot do anything in TestAdmin until January 14th. They will receive an email by January 10th. Please do not @mention anyone concerning Late Spring DT.

Due to the high stakes nature of the ACT test and the uses of its scores, ACT must adhere to strict procedures regarding the administration of the ACT. Our policies ensure appropriate test administration and security protocols are followed, and must be enforced consistently across all schools. To maintain score validity, schools must use the approved materials they are provided and ensure those materials are administered on the correct date. For this reason, you received a notification that the tests administered on October 30th at (INSERT NAME OF SCHOOL) will not be scored due to a misadministration that occurred on that date.

We understand this news likely came as a surprise and disappointment to your students, therefore, ACT is offering, to impacted students at your school, another opportunity to take the ACT at no cost on one of the remaining 2018-19 National Test Dates:

We are providing your school with pre-billed ACT vouchers valid for any of the remaining five test dates. The vouchers are attached (as a pdf file) to this email. You will provide one voucher to each student wishing to retest through National testing.


The Process for Applying Pre-Billed Vouchers


*December 8, 2018 National Test Date – IMPORTANT NOTE

There is a tight timeline in place to register students interested in the December 8 national test date. All of the following tasks need to be completed, no later than November 19, 2018, to register students for December:

  1. The student will need to create their ACT Web Account if they have not done so already. Make sure that the student has uploaded a recent photo to their account.
  2. The school will use the DT Dec 8 Retest Reg File template (attached to this email) to provide the following information to ACT:
  1. Student Name as it appears on their ACT Web Account
  2. ACT ID Number which is  the ACT issued unique ID that is assigned when the ACT Web Account is created
  3. Test Center Number of the preferred testing location. A list of available test centers can be found at Test Center Locations.
  4. Voucher Number located in the upper right hand corner of the voucher.
  5. Signature of the student indicating that they have authorized you to provide this information to ACT for registration purposes.
  1. Return the completed DT Dec 8 Retest Reg File by replying to this email ( by Monday, November 19th, 5:00 pm central time.


February, April, June or July National Test Dates:

The vouchers will cover all regular registration fees – it does not cover late fees, test center or test date changes – so it is important that students register at for their preferred test date by the Registration Deadline (see above). When prompted to provide payment information, instruct the student to enter the 11-digit number located on the voucher.


We are also aware that you may have some students facing college admission and/or scholarship deadlines. If needed, we can provide you with a letter from ACT that you may share with students to present to those entities. Because colleges and universities have different policies about students providing additional ACT scores during the application process, we would encourage your student(s) to contact those applicable entities to learn their specific guidelines.
