  • The initial pull for TD1 is today. We can only apply TAA PINS for the following contracts DCES,/KS/WI.
  • Accoms agents may still associate examinee's to the February 20, 2019 administration however, materials will be sent as an AO.
  • Any students added today till February 20, 2019 will not receive barcode labels and will need to grid in section U (student code) found in PearsonAccess Next.
  • Schools cannot switch from paper testing to online testing

Proctor Caching setup?

  •  The deadline was Friday January 11th for proctor caching. It was not “extended”. This is a “hard” deadline, but we literally can’t enforce it until after the data pull that was scheduled to occur this morning at 1am.
  • Jan 12th – 16th were clean up days for ACT. TA and OCF needed the time to cleanup schools that were not in compliance of the various tasks. One of the tasks during this cleanup time is to convert schools to paper testing that have online Manage Participation, but no TestNav configuration.
  • · If a school completed a TestNav configuration by 1159pm yesterday (Jan 16th) (on their own or with ACT’s help), then they can test online. Any school that didn’t do this, or if they do this today or moving forward, then they cannot test online.

Spring 2019 District Testing

Hello,

Our records indicate that a Student Data Upload (SDU) file has not been submitted for XXX. This file is mandatory and used to register your students for the test. If you do not upload an SDU file by the final deadline, your school(s) will not be able to test this spring.

ACT has extended the deadline to submit your SDU, without incurring a fee, to Wednesday January 16th

To Do

  1. Use the Student Data Upload Header Template to create an SDU file including only those students planning to take the ACT.
  2. Submit your file in PearsonAccessnext™ following the directions in the Student Data Upload File Requirements and Loading Instructions

Once you have a student data file that meets requirements, loading it to PearsonAccessnext generally takes 5 to 10 minutes.

*Important Note: The SDU file is used for accurate reporting and invoicing. If needed, you will have through March 12(Makeup Test Date) to manage your student data by using the Enroll / Unenroll process in PearsonAccessnext

Fees

District testing agreements for the Early Spring 2019 administration are now subject to a late fee for SDU files submitted after the deadline. If your file is loaded after January 16th, in addition to the $500 late fee, you will not receive barcode labels and all student information will need to be manually gridded on each answer document. The final deadline to submit your SDU file is Wednesday, February 6.

Your testing website has resources for this process under Configuration.
